Share Savings Account

The Share Account is similar to a savings account. Interest is earned on the average daily balance of $100 or more. Deposits can be made into the account in any amount, and there are no monthly or withdrawal fees. The dividend rate is set by the Board of Directors at the end of each quarter for the previous quarter.

Share Draft Account

This is the Credit Union equivalent of a Checking account, but Share Drafts offer several distinct advantages.

There is no monthly fee. There is also no per check charge, regardless of how many checks you write. In addition, you will receive monthly statements to help you keep your records.

50 Plus Account

This is a special account for members age 50 and over. Besides the benefits of our regular Share Draft Account, 50 Plus Members also receive the following:

· One Free Box of Checks per Year

· No Fees For Traveler's Checks

· No Fees For Money Orders

· No Fees for Cashier's Checks or Certified Checks

· Free Fax and Copy Service

Student Advantage Account

This special account for full time high school or college students enrolled in at least 9 semester hours, offers the convenience of our regular Share Draft Account along with no monthly Visa Check Card fee, no monthly service fee, a $250 limit credit card if you have no credit, and one free box of checks per year.

Kids Klub

Kids Klub is a special account for children ages 12 and under. It encourages kids to save by giving them coins with their deposits. Kids can go to any Members First office and purchase all kinds of cool things from their very own Kids Klub store. This account can be opened with as little as $5 and deposits can be made into the account for $5 or more. Interest is earned in the same manner and at the same rate as the Share Account.

Christmas Club

Holiday bills can be enormous, but our Christmas Club can make them manageable. This account can be opened with as little as $25 and deposits can be made into the account in any amount up to a maximum of $5000 per year. The Christmas Club pays interest on the average daily balance. Each year on November 15, dividends are paid and the balance is either mailed to you or transferred into your Share Savings account, just in time for Christmas shopping. The account will automatically renew on November 16.

Certificates of Deposit

Members First offers Certificates of Deposits that range in term from 3 months to 48 months with a minimum balance of $500 (Great Start minimum is $200). Our rates are some of the best around. Dividends are paid and compounded monthly. See a representative for current rates.

Individual Retirement Accounts

The Credit Union offers very competitive rates on IRAs. Dividends are paid and compounded monthly. Unlike many other financial institutions, there are no set up fees or maintenance fees of any type. IRA Certificates are also available with the same rates and terms as our regular CDs.
